Build Mode

To enter build mode you must press the console button which is bound to the tilde ` key by default. See console commands for more information.

T/G to scroll through decorations

Q/E to change grid size.

Arrow Keys to nagivate. Rotation is for controlling the yaw (pitch and roll are currently unsupported) of 3d models. Scale will adjust the scale of both sprites and 3D models. Left Mouse to place objects.


To save your build mode placements, reopen the console and type "build save" hit enter. To exit build mode, reopen the console and type "build" again.


Your placements will be saved in map.script file named [yourmapname]Ent.script

simply copy the lines in this script to your map.script and they will be placed.


NOTE: every time you enter "build save" your current mapEnt.script file is overwritten. Be sure to copy and paste placed items as described above before reentering and saving in build mode.
